What to Include
When contacting support, please include:
- Your RefScale user ID from the app, if available, or the email address where we can reply.
- Your device model and iOS version.
- A short description of the issue.
- Screenshots or screen recordings if they help explain the problem.
- For purchase or subscription issues, the App Store product or subscription involved. Do not send full payment card details.
Subscriptions and Purchases
RefScale subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
If a purchase or subscription does not appear in RefScale, open the app and use Restore Subscription from Profile. If the issue continues, contact support with your RefScale user ID, the App Store product involved, and the approximate purchase time.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. RefScale cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your RefScale account or guest data from the app in Profile > Account & Data.
Deleting your RefScale account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through Apple subscription settings if you no longer want it to renew.
Measurement Accuracy
RefScale measurements are approximate and depend on camera angle, perspective, reference placement, image quality, and marker placement. For best results, place the reference object next to the measured object, keep both on the same plane, and take photos as straight-on as possible.
